Children and young people across the Isle of Wight can look forward to a festive season filled with fun, thanks to the return of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.
Running throughout the school holidays, the Isle of Wight Council scheme offers a wide range of free activities — from football and farm visits to creative workshops and soft play — alongside a nutritious meal and snacks each day.
Funded by the Department for Education, the programme is open to children who receive benefits-related free school meals, with additional places available for other families who may need support.
This year, more than 1,230 places are available across the Island, with sessions hosted by trusted local providers in Newport, Ryde, Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor, Cowes and East Cowes.

Booking holiday activities has never been easier.
The HAF Booking System allows families to browse and book all available activities in one convenient location. By visiting the Eequ Booking System users can quickly find and secure their preferred sessions.
